IT'S THE END OF THE SUMMER
Sunday, Aug. 22, 2004 @ 4:28 pm

It used to be that summertime was the solution! Less clothing, fewer things to get into and mess up. Now summer is a shitty dead weight, and I figure maybe it’s because I have so many things to carry around now – lots of things with not enough pockets. As you get older, I swear to God, you have to hoist more shit around, all these gadgets and entertainments (cellphones, cigarettes, wallets, lighters, laptops, and Blockbuster movies). Therefore seasons and their dress codes get totally warped, and suddenly at the end of August you’re certain that things aren’t going so well, and your arms are tired from holding all this shit in them!

Do you like books and insane drummers? Zach Hill (drummer extraordinaire for Hella, Nervous Cop, Team Sleep, etc.) has a new book out over at tnibooks.com. Way out storytale and full-length album to boot. Whoa, check it!
